St Andrew’s Presbyterian Church Lahore celebrated its 150 years of service in a befitting “Jubilee” at Nabha Road, Lahore. The Church was built in 1860 during the British era. Since that time, St Andrew’s has been a witness to the Church at large by demonstrating that devotion in action is evangelical and lived faith brings grace to those in need. Many thousands of people have worshipped at this Church, and remark on the sense of family unity that they feel here. The present congregation of more than 100 families has been sustained by that relationship through many long years of giving praise and thanks to God.

The whole year was activity-filled to make the jubilee as rich as possible.

A commemoration plaque was unveiled to mark the 150th Anniversary and a Jubilee Magazine has been issued to include lots of information about Church History and current activities. Special Prayers for peace and sovereignty of Pakistan were offered. Pictures can be seen at: Album 1 Album 2 News as published in Daily times
